YOUR DATA SHOULD STAY YOURS
Privacy, in plain language.
This page describes the current version of KILIZU. Updated November 4, 2026.
Your files and text
The tools in this release process files, text, and numbers in your browser. KILIZU does not upload these inputs to a server. Your generated downloads are created on your device.
Selected files and tool inputs are held in the page’s memory while you use a tool. Clear the tool or close the tab to remove them from that session. Downloads you save remain on your device until you delete them.
Preferences
Your chosen light or dark theme is saved in your browser’s local storage under kilizu-theme. You can remove it through your browser’s site-data settings. The website currently does not set advertising or analytics cookies.
Hosting
KILIZU is designed to be hosted on Cloudflare. Like any website request, a page load makes technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, and browser headers available to the hosting provider for delivery and security. This is separate from the contents you enter into the tools.
Tool search terms appear in the page URL so searches can be shared. Avoid putting private information in the tool search box.
External services
Fonts, scripts, and artwork are served with the website. Links to the Computing Lab channel open YouTube, which has its own privacy practices. No YouTube player is embedded in this release.
Newsletter and advertising
Newsletter registration is not open and the site does not collect email addresses. Advertising and analytics integrations are not enabled. This page will need to be updated before any such integrations are introduced.
Using shared devices
Browser-side processing reduces the need to send data away, but it does not protect against browser extensions, a compromised device, or someone with access to your screen or saved downloads. Choose a trusted device for sensitive documents.
